I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. My research interests are international organizations and the governance of global trade and investment, with an additional emphasis on applied quantitative methodology. My dissertation develops new methods for estimating causal effects under attrition and time-dependent confounding. It applies these to analyze the long-term consequences of bilateral investment treaties on investment and the behavior of arbitrators in investor-state dispute tribunals . My other work focuses on experiments, methods for measurement, and descriptive inference in network data.
